Hockey Eyes Without a Face Skateboard Deck

Before hockey masks became the norm, it was common for goalies to play without a face shield. This was due to tradition and a culture of toughness in the game where goalies were expected to be able to withstand getting hit with pucks and other potential head trauma. However, there were several issues with the early masks and many were never effective. As a result, there are only eight players remaining in the NHL who do not wear visors. This deck from Jason Dill and Ave features a macabre drenched ‘Hockey Eyes Without a Face’ base graphic. The deck measures 8.5″ wide with a deep concave. 7 ply Canadian Maple team skateboard. Made in Canada.
