This ad is for a custom adhesive vinyl sticker for New York Islanders stars MATTHEW BARZAL, JOSH BAILEY, ANDERS LEE, CASEY CIZIKAS, ROBIN LEHNER and THOMAS GREISS, showing the player’s name and uniform number similar to how it appears on the back of his jersey. Choose the following options — player, size and color. The stickers come in 4″ height or 6″ height. Colors available are blue with orange outline or white with orange outline. The price is for one individual sticker – $6 for one 4″ sticker, $8 for one 6″ sticker. If you want to put the sticker on a light colored surface, choose the blue color. If you want to put it on a dark surface, choose the white color. If putting the sticker on a car window, choose white; blue will be too dark to show up. The letters/numbers are not on a contrasting color ground. For example, the sticker is just individual blue letters/numbers and you have to put it on a light-colored surface to create the contrast. The sticker will have adhesive tape on its face, and backing paper on its reverse sticky side. You lift the adhesive tape with the sticker attached to it away from the backing paper, exposing the sticky side, and place it on the surface you wish you attach it to. You then rub it down with a plastic squeegee, credit card or your finger. Slowly lift away the adhesive tape at an angle as shown in the pictures and the sticker remains attached to the surface (see photos). Measure the area you want to place the sticker before choosing the 4″ or 6″ size. Ideal surface to place it on is smooth metal, glass or plastic. The sticker will be less adhesive on a wall that’s been painted with flat latex paint and even less on an uneven surface with grain such as stucco or unfinished wood.
